Doug and Priscilla Higby

Serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators and partner missionaries with Resonate Global Mission

Doug & Priscilla are missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Doug is the International Coordinator for Language Technology Use, and Priscilla is serving as the Academic Publishing Manager and ePub Compositor. Their goal is to harness technology to expedite the translation of God’s Word into all languages.

Serving with Mission Firefly in Guatemala

Gerson & Crystal partner with Mission Firefly in rural communities in the Sacatepequez and Chimaltenango regions of Guatemala. By providing education, food, access to clean water, shelter, clothing, economic development, and medical attention, they reach their main goal of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with those living in difficult situations. Their future goals are to finish their education (Gersonlawyer and Crystalcounselor) and begin practicing in these areas to provide rescue and recovery for victims of domestic violence and abuse.

Darryl and Shelly De Ruiter

Serving with Many Hands for Haiti

Darryl & Shelly have served in Haiti since October 2018. Darryl has an administrative role, managing all programs in the areas of Education, Leadership Development, and Agronomy. He also focuses on staff development. Shelly provides support through staff mentoring, prayer ministry (with staff, visiting teams, and Haitian communities), and the support of leadership in-country.

Serving with Navigators International in the Netherlands

Steve & Chelsey and their three girls serve in the postChristian country of the Netherlands in the city of Wageningen. Currently, around 24% of Dutch people claim to have a personal relationship with Jesus. The Nugterens disciple Christian international students and evangelize unbelieving students at Wageningen University and Research, work with the local Vineyard Churchand practice being good neighbors with extra seats at their table.

Mike and Megan Ribbens

Serving with Resonate Global Mission in Johannesburg, South Africa

Mike is the regional mission leader for Eastern and Southern Africa, a region consisting of 10 countries from Ethiopia to South Africa. He guides their sevenperson team to provide fruitful Gospel presence and witness in four areas of ministry: Leadership Development, Christian Education, Family Life and Transformational Networks. Within South Africa, Mike focuses on equipping churches and community leaders for urban mission. Megan mentors parents and teachers, facilitates therapeutic Through Their Eyes photography programs and serves on a team to teach children and better integrate them in the life of their church.

Joel and Jeannie Huyser

Serving with Resonate Global Mission as a Global Area Director for Latin America and Asia

Joel & Jeannie work for Resonate Global Mission out of their home in Dallas, Texas. Joel coaches Resonate missionaries and partner ministries in Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. He also encourages churches in North America to form evangelistic friendships with new neighbors from other cultures.

Don & Mary Ridder

Serving with Resonate Global Mission in Costa Rica

Don is the pastor of an English speaking, international, nondenominational church in the San Jose, Costa Rica area (Escazu Christian Fellowship). He also serveas the Chaplain of the Marine Corps League and is one of the Chaplains at a local senior care facility. In addition, he is involved with multiple mission projects helping the urban poor and underprivileged, refugees, and expat students.

 

Joel and Rachel Watters

Serving with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in Costa Rica

Rachel & Joel were invited to start pioneering ministry in the southern area of Costa Rica, a dream InterVarsity (or as it is called in Costa Rica – Estudiantes Cristianos Unidos or ECU for shorthas had for over 40 years. The ministry of ECU serves 500 students on 15 different campuses. Currently, they have planted ministry at 2 different campuses, developed student leadership teams and raised up an intern to serve with the ministry.

Justin Van Zee

Serving with Resonate Global Mission in Cambodia

Justin works with Resonate Global Mission in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The Cambodian church is young and makes up just 2% of the population, and there’s a critical need for leaders to go deeper in their faith. Justin’s main focus is on encouraging and equipping emerging leaders in the Christian community. He does this by partnering with local organizations and churches to develop and implement training programs, mentoring young leaders oneonone, and sharing a home with four Cambodian guys.
