When You Visit

When to arrive:
If it’s your first visit then it’s probably best to turn up around 15 minutes before the service starts. If you are driving then you’ll be pleased to hear that there is plenty of free parking. For directions to reach us please see the Find Us On The Map page. You’ll be greeted at the door by greeters who are able to give you some direction if you feel lost.

What to wear:
This is easy. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We accept people as they are. There is no need to dress up to try and be someone that you’re not. Whether you come wearing a business suit or you come wearing your jeans is fine with us.

What to expect:
For some people going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of a nerve-racking experience. To help avoid any worries here’s a quick summary of what you can expect at Calvary. First of all we aren’t super-spiritual beings,  just ordinary folks.  You will find that our congregation is made up of a lot of friendly people—you will feel welcome among us!  We have a God-centered worship, focusing on what God desires from us in our daily living.  The Bible provides the foundation for messages which are relevant to our lives.  Music is an important element of worship at Calvary Church.  Our 8:45 AM service is traditional while our 11:00 AM service is contemporary.  We enjoy congregational singing as well as music provided by vocal groups.  The theme of the music supports the theme of worship service.  Lastly, you will notice that our congregation in worship is made up of a wide range of ages.  We believe that it is important for all our generations to be together in worship.  We think you will enjoy worshiping with us!

The Welcome Center

If you would like more information about Calvary, visit our Welcome Center in the Fellowship Hall.  A friendly person will be behind the Welcome Center counter to answer your questions.

Is it just Sundays?
Absolutely not! God is with us all week long and we aim to lead lives pleasing to him. We’re not perfect and we do make mistakes, but we desire to make a positive difference in everything we do. To further encourage us we have many opportunites to get involved in groups to help us grow.  Some of these groups can be found under the Grow menu on this web site. Groups like these are a great way to get to know others in the church and to explore our relationship with God.

For those with disabilities:
We aim to be an all-inclusive church.  If you have specific needs we will try to help you. Our premises are accessible for those with disabilities. We have reserved parking spaces near the entrance. We have wheel chair accessible bathrooms and entrances. We have hearing assists for the hearing impaired.
